Land Use Plan

In consultation with the community, industry and government, we undertake a strategic approach to planning, setting the vision and direction for the Port of Bundaberg for both the long and short term.

The Port of Bundaberg is located 4.8 km from the mouth of the Burnett River, some 19 km downstream from the City of Bundaberg. The Port of Bundaberg’s landholdings incorporate approximately 507 hectares of land and perpetual water leases and provide for a diverse range of land uses including port industry, marine industry, marina operations, conservation areas and recreation/open space parkland.

The Port of Bundaberg Land Use Plan 2009 came into effect on 13 November 2009.

Enquiries regarding the Port of Bundaberg Land Use Plan 2009 should be directed to the Manager, Port of Bundaberg, Jason Pascoe during business hours on (07) 4130 2222 or by email through the contact us page.
